Born in Ankara in 1977, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He completed his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. During his professional training, he gained surgical training and clinical experience at Sheffield University School of Medicine in the United Kingdom and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the United States. Throughout his academic career he has held positions at universities and training and research hospitals. He became an Associate Professor in 2017 and was awarded the title of Professor in 2023. He holds Turkish and European Plastic Surgery Board certifications (Turkish Board, 2016; Fellow of EBOPRAS, FEBOPRAS, 2018).
